Daido creates the next stage beyond what the customer “wants”

Daido Chemical Corporation was founded in 1945 and commercialized the first vinyl acetate emulsion made in Japan in 1946.
Since then, we have offered primarily acrylic polymer products such as adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives and paint resins for construction, automobile and other industrial applications, and have been moving into the information technology field as of recent. We also established a Life Science Division in 2012 through which we manufacture and market pharmaceutical excipients and cosmetic ingredients at home and abroad by drawing on our polymer synthesis technologies accumulated over the years.

We entered into the plastic molding business years ago and started injection molding operations in 1952 and extrusion molding operations in 1953. Our molding products are used in automobile airbags, a safety component that requires high reliability and technological assuredness, and in optical fibers. We apply these technologies to Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) molding and offer products for medical applications.
